Some people watch TV. Others doom scroll. I like making things. And for several months now, I have been obsessed with the idea that an old classroom activity I used as an English teacher would make a fantastic word game. (A word game for people who can do more than spell, if I’m being cheeky!)
Behold, the second version of Wilde Cards, including a new Facebook page to help keep it in your stream.
Each day, you get a great sentence from literature with one word blanked out. You get three rounds to guess the word. And you are rewarded with an edition of the book for your virtual bookshelf if you win.
Please consider playing for a few days to see how you like it. Share it with friends. And don’t hesitate to tell me what you think works and what you think could make it even better.
